The Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Center provides palliative care to terminally ill people of all ages in order to promote a dignified and serene end of life, completely free of charge. Each of the 12 individual rooms enjoys a view of the gardens and can accommodate more than 200 beneficiaries per year. Since its opening, more than 2,100 patients have experienced the end of their life there. The care provided seeks to relieve their suffering, without hastening or delaying death, in order to help them maintain the best possible quality of life. Health professionals, support staff and a team of volunteers have the mission of offering them, as well as their loved ones, the support they need.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage all aspects related to the organization and smooth running of fundraising activities (Happening, Golf, Poinsettias, Loto Voyage, Walk);

Actively participate in the search for ideas to optimize the events under his responsibility (search for sponsorship, put forward strategies to reduce expenses related to the organization of events);
-
Retain current partners;
-
Research, develop and solicit new partnerships for existing fundraisers and for the organization of new fundraising activities;
-
Develop the niche of external activities and support partners in organizing their fundraising events;
-
Support, in collaboration with the communication advisor, the follow-up of communications related to activities;
-
Manage and support the management of volunteers assigned to events;
-
Monitor events taking place in the region and propose strategies for strengthening ties;
-
Solicit donors for sponsorships, auctions and door prizes;
-
Implement and apply the donor recognition policy, which aims to demonstrate the House's gratitude to donors by applying the targeted actions according to the donations made.

Represent the Foundation with different bodies in order to ensure its visibility and increase its notoriety;
-
Perform budget monitoring and reporting in collaboration with Finance;
-
Promote the activities of the Foundation with partner bodies;
-
Bringing to life and applying the representation policies according to the values and ethics of the Foundation.

Carry out a strategic watch on the best practices of Foundations and Palliative Care Houses;
-
Produce weekly, monthly and annual donation reports to have an overall picture of the financial situation.

Support and communicate the vision and mission of the House;

REQUIRED PROFILE AND REQUIREMENTS:

Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar position;

Master French, both orally and in writing;
-
Good knowledge of English, both oral and written;
-
Good knowledge of the MS Office 365 suite;
-
Have a good knowledge of winning methods and strategies for philanthropic development;
-
Own a motor vehicle for occasional trips in the region;
-
Be available occasionally for evening and weekend activities;
-
Knowledge of Prodon software (an asset);

Salary $24.57 to $32.80 per hour;

Vacation: equivalent to 8% of accumulated working weeks after one year of service;
