Despite all the pandemic upheaval, the Residence still has Holiday poinsettias ready for you!

This year’s poinsettias will light up your home or office more brightly than ever, as testament to your generous donation to the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence—donations that are more critical than ever before.

With the pandemic forcing us to cancel fund-raising events, we find ourselves having lost the vast majority of our sources of financing. Fortunately, our annual poinsettia campaign has managed to survive.

These magnificent plants will be available at Centre Jardin Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac starting Tuesday, November 24 until November 27 in exchange for a donation of $28 per plant.

Poinsettias can be reserved in advance. Given the uncertainty of the current situation, we have only ordered a total of 1,500 for this year’s campaign, so don’t wait—reserve yours today!

Delivery is available for orders of five plants or more.

Once again, we are fortunate to be able to count on the support of our loyal partners: Desjardins Vaudreuil-Soulanges, the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion and Centre Jardin Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac.

“Year after year, Desjardins Vaudreuil-Soulanges provides a financial contribution to the poinsettia campaign in support of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence Foundation. This holiday season will prove to be rather unique, due to COVID-19. Despite the exceptional measures put into place to limit the spread of the disease and the smaller scale of this year’s undertaking, the campaign will nonetheless continue to prove highly beneficial and encouraging for the VSPCR and the community overall,” stated Gilles Brassard, General Manager of Caisse Desjardins de Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

Although this year’s Holiday celebrations are sure to be a little different, specifically as a result of the restrictions on gatherings, poinsettias always help make things a little brighter.

Not only will your poinsettias add a beautiful holiday touch to your home or office, they will act as a wonderful reminder of the solidarity through which the Residence can ensure that end-of-life care is blossoming with love and kindness, both for patients and their loved ones.
