A Message from our President
The Vaudreuil-Soulanges population can truly be proud of itself. We have gone from dream to reality. We are celebrating our 10th year. We have a palliative care Residence that welcomes patients to live to the end with dignity, surrounded by their loved ones.
Each gesture, each act of presence, each donation is a testament to the collective commitment of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges population towards your Foundation and your Residence. You have come together and you continue to do so to ensure that everyone, rich or poor, can receive free palliative care and services.
Did you know…
- the VSPCR has welcomed over 1 700 patients and families since its opening from each of the 23 municipalities of the MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges and its surroundings
- the average age of our patients is 73
- 51% of our patients come from their home and 49% from the hospital
- 250 volunteers give the equivalent 23 000 hours of their time and expertise to the Residence
- the Residence costs $6,575 to operate each day despite being debt free
Did you know that without you, we could not and can not continue to offer this free service to a parent, to a friend or to others you are close to? When you help us, you help to pay it forward.
Now let’s ensure the sustainability of this collective effort by leaving a legacy in our beautiful region TOGETHER.
