VSPCR Golf Tournament

With your help, we can still have a golf tournament…

even without the golfing!

Perhaps your life has somewhat returned to normal… or, at the very least, some new form of normal.

At the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence, we are still dealing with doing things in a somewhat unusual way—one prime example is that we have been forced to transform our annual golf tournament into a non-golfing tournament!

In order to avoid jeopardizing the health and safety of everyone involved, we truly felt this was the best decision.

At the same time, the Residence relies heavily on this event to ensure its financial health.

With your help, however, we’ll be able to continue providing quality end-of-life care to our community.

Mr. Jean St-Pierre, President of Services de Rebuts Soulanges Inc., will kick things off with the creation of a fund to compensate for the tournament. His participation as honorary president of this year’s event will therefore take the form of a donation to the Residence.

Since we won’t be able to meet on the greens this year, Mr. St-Pierre invites you to keep the ball rolling by making a contribution to the fund instead.

Your support honours you and we are grateful for your continued generosity—even without your golf clubs—because we need you, now more than ever.

With your help, this is sure to be a hole-in-one for the Palliative Care Residence!

On behalf of the Residence’s employees and volunteers, as well as its patients and their families, we would like to extend our most sincere thanks!

2019 VSPCR Golf  Tournament

To mark the 15th anniversary of the tournament, 11 former honorary presidents and other partners of the Residence assumed the honorary presidency. This honorary committee was chaired by Mr. Jean St-Pierre, president of Services de Rebuts Soulanges.

Presenter of the tournament, the National Bank donated $5,000 $ to the Foundation of the VSPCR.

23 donors became Ambassadors of the Residence.

The 195 participants in the tournament, as well as the partners and sponsors of the Residence, expressed their generosity, allowing the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence (VSPCR) to raise $78,071 during this 15th edition of its annual golf tournament on Monday, June 10th.

The tournament was held this year for the first time at the Summerlea Golf & Country Club in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Thank you to everyone for your support and we are looking forward to seeing everyone next year!
