The Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Center's mission is to provide palliative care to terminally ill people of all ages in order to promote an end of life with dignity and serenity. Located in a peaceful environment, the House has twelve perfectly equipped individual rooms. We offer professional care focused on comprehensive support for sick people, their family members and loved ones.

32 hours / week

​

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and support the component of community events organized by the population and the philanthropy team;

  • Represent the house at events and activities offered and organized in the community;

  • Promote and apply the donor recognition policy, which aims to demonstrate the House's gratitude to donors by applying the targeted actions according to the donations given;

  • Ensure funding follow-ups using the ProDon platform;

  • Complete and follow up on grant applications;

  • Provide administrative support to the philanthropy team;

  • Participate in the smooth running of fundraising activities for the house (happening, walk, raffle, golf).

KNOW-HOW:

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills in order to build partnerships and collaborate with these partners;

  • Demonstrate an ability to quickly enter into and maintain relationships;

  • Demonstrate a good sense of planning and work organization;

  • Demonstrate integrity, rigor and professionalism;

  • Demonstrate a good sense of prioritization of issues.

REQUIRED PROFILE AND REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Have a college diploma in administration, events, communications or other related field;

  • Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar position;

  • Master French, both orally and in writing;

  • Good knowledge of English, both oral and written;

  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite;

  • You must be available to participate in events, on occasion, outside of regular working hours.

BENEFITS: 

  • Salary $21.86 to $22.39 per hour;

  • Salary advancement according to the administrative assistant's salary scale;

  • Vacation: equivalent to 8% of accumulated working weeks after one year of service;

  • 3 days of sick leave and 2 personal days;
